Jordan Szoke & Kawasaki Display at Strodes BBQ & Deli in Brantford Oct. 17

Both Kawasaki Canada and Jordan, want to thank Strodes BBQ and Deli for hosting the 'Meet Brantford’s Champion Jordan Szoke' display at their West Street store Saturday October 17. The weather was perfect for showing the complete Kawasaki Racing transporter and Team along with Jordan’s Championship winning motorcycles encouraging many Brantford residents to view the large impressive display. Jordan is the newly crowned 6 time Superbike, 4 time Sportbike, and 1st time Observed Trials Champion, making his career total of 12 Canadian Championships something Brantford should be very proud of.

Strodes provided their famous BBQ to help Jordan raise over $500.00 for cancer research and treatment as the event was used to launch Jordan’s new program of raising funds for the Princess Margaret Foundation with his ‘Racing for a Cure - Change for Cancer’ campaign. At all of Jordan’s races, this program will continue fund raising by asking those in attendance to simply drop their pocket change into the Shoei donation helmet. All funds will be forwarded to the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation assisting his fellow Canadians with their cancer treatment. Of worthy note was when some of Jordan’s very young fans showed up to deposit the coins taken from their piggy bank into the helmet, pointing out that cancer does affect everyone, and just how important helping research and treatment really is.

MP Phil McColeman and MPP Dave Levac presented awards to Jordan on his success in 2009, and Strodes along with the Szoke family thanking them for their efforts to raise funding and awareness with the ‘Racing for a Cure - Change for Cancer’ campaign.

The weather was cool but comfortable, and Jordan along with the complete Kawasaki Canada Racing, who are the Inside Motorcycles ‘Team of the Year’, would like to thank the Brantford residents for their attendance at Brantford’s first glimpse of their Champion, the winnigest motorcycle rider in Canada.
